Carl Edwardes worked closely with the Trojan Record Company and was able to bring a large number of the Reggae acts, so popular in the early seventies, to the California. Artists appearing included Desmond Dekker, Symarip, The Upsetters, The Pyramids, The Equals, Horace Faith and many more.
In February 1971 this culminated in the arrival of the Reggae Package tour
