The night Donald Byrd played there, he was dancing on the main room floor prior to his set. We had whistles and the security were not too keen on us blowing them. Halfway through Donald's set he threw whistles and a few tambourines into the crowd, they gave up. LOL
The original Blackbyrds were formed in 1973 by jazz trumpeter Donald Byrd
