The Hand, were formed in 1967 from the four remaining members of Him and the Others.
The band split up around a year later. George and Geoff went on to form George Paul Jefferson, Keith Giles joined progressive band, Fortis Mentum, and Colin Roche went back to his love of the blues forming a band with Paul Rogers, who later went on to form Free.
