Something had to follow skateboarding as America's new craze and sure enough in the wake of john Travolta, Roller Disco has arrived. Local people will have their first chance to become experts when the California Ballroom in Dunstable premieres this exciting new leisure pursuit on Thursday next, November 23.
As befits the first 'Roller Disco' rink in the country, £30,000 has been spent on equipping the venues with the latest in Disco lighting and sound equipment. Top Radio One disc jockey Peter Powell, will be the star attraction on the opening night, supported by resident DJ Brother Louie.
The ballroom with licensed bars, will be open from 8pm - 11pm
